Track Racing Bikes
Track bikes have steeper upright angles in the seat tube and head tube. The forks have less offset and the wheel base is shorter. This makes the bike very responsive when accelerating and turning. Track bikes are also equipped with a heavy gear ratio for racing. The bike can be ridden brakeless and the frames usually have no brake holes, water bottle bosses, or cable routings.
Frame and fork sets that have this particular geometry include Affinity, Bare Knuckle, Brass Knuckle, IRO, The Pake frame with 30mm Soma fork, and the Waterford Fleet 4 Velo Track frame.
Complete bikes with track geomety include the Bianchi Pista, the Fuji Track Bikes, Swobo Sanchez and the Van Dessel Drag Strip Courage
