Meanwhile, a week ago Burbank opened a less-ambitious Bike Stop at its Metrolink station. This will be an unattended facility, but will require cyclists to sign up before receiving access codes; it will provide secure bike parking plus a modest repair station for emergency fix-it-ups.

Could we quit calling Long Beach “the LBC?” What does the “C” stand for anyway? Compton? Crips?
We’re proud that downtown Long Beach has grown so far beyond the ‘hood it used to be. Please quit dragging it back down.

Long Beach City. It’s just a nickname that comes from hip hop, and it’s stuck. And as someone from Long Beach, I don’t see that as a bad thing.
