		<description>Or maybe the era has passed when we could afford to drive hordes of cars about to participate in structured ego romps.

Since most of this sort of racing (foot or bike) is strictly amateur, maybe it should, like so many other activities, be more strictly local (and so sustainable) as well.</description>
