We got Bling for that special bike in your life
So, EAI has a new cog. The EAI super cog has technology originating in F1 race cars. Its gold plated with a material that I have no understanding of that makes it super smooth and quiet. You thought you were the baddest kid on the block with your old shiny EAI cog? Well… lets just say you might want to start drooling…

Keirin Frames, Brass Knuckles, Amgen Tour and Flatland Jam.
We just acquired an entire line of beautiful custom Japanese Keirin frames. We have a Nagasawa, two BridgestoneĆs, a Reminton, a Mukino, a Vivalo and a 3 Rensho. Each bike comes with Hatta Swan headsets and high end, NJS square tapered bottom brackets. Pics and Sizes coming soon.
We have the new Euro Asia Brass Knuckle Frame and fork sets. These bikes are the inexpensive alloy counterparts to the classic Bare Knuckle steel frame set. All sizes are available in Grey and Kaki Green for 295$. Get a Miche headset, 31.8 seat post and clamp for 25$ more. The Bare Knuckles are also available for 530$ all day every day. Call for shipping rates and options or just come by the store in person. We plan on building and testing one of the Brass Knuckles for the shop too, so check back for pics and reviews later.
The city of Long Beach is giving us a booth at the Amgen Tour of California Bike and Family Festival February 24, 2007. We have arranged a pro flatland Jam featuring Chad Jonston, Pete Brandt and Day Smith. We also got the city to throw a skid competition and a track stand competition on the same day.
The city of Long Beach and Park Tools is looking for participants in the “Fastest Wrench” competition. I have sign up sheets at the shop, or I can fax you one. There was supposed to be an alley cat race in the works, but the city didn’t get behind that. Right now I am trying to get them to throw a gold sprint competition.
Jim is recovering from an accident last October. Thank you to everyone who has been by the shop to wish him a speedy recovery. Your appreciation and support makes everything worthwhile.
This Friday Jan 26th there will be a small art opening at our shop for a Food not Bombs benefit. The show is entitled Monsters with Bicycles. You will need to sign a waiver before riding the trike or the unicycle.
Up Coming Gallery Additions:
Bikes of the Stars: Watanabe on Orange Deep V’s with Sugino 75’s
The Santa Barbara 60c Kacki Green: Bare Knuckle with Phil Woods and bladed radial Sapim spokes.
